At investment in December 2022, Rex Software was a leading provider of real estate software solutions provider across Australia and the UK, with a growing presence in residential and commercial property markets. The business had recently expanded its suite through the acquisition of Cirrus8, adding property management and yield optimisation capabilities.
Potentia’s thesis focuses on international expansion, product innovation and scaling enterprise sales. Strategic priorities include onboarding major UK clients, launching a refreshed brand and integrating Cirrus8’s platform into Rex’s product ecosystem.
Rex remains an active investment, positioned as a scalable SaaS platform driving growth in property management and enterprise sales.
At initial investment in 2022 and after its ASX de-listing in May 2023, Nitro was a global provider of PDF, workflow and eSignature software. Headquartered in Dublin, the company serves both enterprise and individual users worldwide.
Potentia’s thesis is centred on accelerating growth through go-to-market optimisation, pricing strategy and AI-enabled product innovation. Key initiatives include launching a new billing engine to support eCommerce expansion and pursuing bolt-on acquisitions to strengthen its market presence.
Nitro remains an active investment, positioned for continued expansion as a global productivity software platform.
At investment in March 2023, Soprano Design was a leading provider of Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solutions to enterprise and government clients worldwide. The company recently expanded its scale through the acquisitions of Whispir and Hello Technology.
Potentia’s thesis aims at optimising sales effectiveness and driving industry consolidation to strengthen market leadership. Since investment, Soprano has delivered material revenue and earnings growth, supported by cross-selling opportunities across its expanded customer base.
Soprano remains an active investment, positioned as a scaled CPaaS leader with strong financial performance and potential for strategic exit.
At investment in May 2024, Vista Group was a publicly listed provider of software solutions to the global cinema industry, with operations spanning 100+ countries. Potentia acquired a 19.8% cornerstone stake to support Vista’s transition from on-premise systems to a modern cloud-based SaaS model.
Potentia’s thesis focused on accelerating this transformation, particularly the rollout of Vista’s Moviegoer Engagement platform and migration of major clients to its cloud suite.
In 2025, Potentia exited its stake in Vista Group, which at the time was positioned as the global leader in cinema management software and progressing strongly in its transition to a cloud-based SaaS model.
At investment in September 2024, Jinjer was a Japan-based provider of cloud-based human resources software, including payroll, time & attendance and expense management solutions. Potentia co-led the investment to support growth in the large and underpenetrated mid-market segment.
Potentia’s thesis focuses on optimising pricing, improving customer retention and accelerating R&D to expand Jinjer’s competitive offering.
Jinjer remains an active investment, positioned as Potentia’s entry point into Japan’s HR technology sector, with significant opportunity for long-term growth.
At investment in October 2024, Storypark was a leading provider of early childhood education software across Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The platform supports educators with lesson planning, compliance and parent engagement tools.
Potentia’s thesis is focused on acquiring a category-leading SaaS platform in a fragmented market, with scope to further expand internationally and enhance customer value through product innovation.
Storypark remains an active investment, positioned as the leader in early education software with strong growth potential across multiple geographies.
